- Accumulator
- A single bet that links two or more individual wagers, all of which must win for the accumulator to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team to level the match, eliminating the draw and offering two possible outcomes.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you combine multiple outcomes from the same match into a single custom bet.
- Bet Slip
- The electronic record on a betting site that lists the selections, odds, and stake for a wager.
- Bonus Rollover
- The number of times you must wager a bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings from it.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Corner Kick
- A bet on how many corner kicks will be taken during a match, often offered as over/under a set number.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match (win/draw, win/lose, or draw/lose).
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win if your chosen team wins.
- Expected Goals
- A metric that estimates how many goals a team should have scored based on the quality of its shots.
- First Goal Scorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in a match.
- Free Bet
- A no-cost bet credited to your account that can be used to place a wager, usually with any winnings returned minus the free bet stake.
- Handicap Betting
- A market where a disadvantage is added to the weaker team to create more balanced odds.
- In-Play
- Bets placed after a match has started, with odds that update in real time as the game progresses.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula that calculates the optimal size of a bet based on your edge and the odds.
- Lay Bet
- A bet that a particular outcome will not happen, such as betting against a team to win.
- Margin
- The built-in profit margin a bookmaker includes in the odds, expressed as a percentage.
- Odds
- The numerical expression of the likelihood of an outcome, determining how much you can win relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic, such as total goals, will be higher or lower than a set line.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet.
- Unit
- A standard measurement of the size of a bet, often a fixed percentage of your bankroll.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, suggesting an edge.
